Upcoming Total Solar Eclipse
All of us Need to Know About the Upcoming Total Solar Eclipse. Eclipses have been a mystery for some while it has been a myth for the rest. Well, believe in it or not, you cannot ignore it for sure. A total solar eclipse is bound to happen in circumstances when the moon comes totally in between the Sun and the Earth. This tends to block a human’s view of the sun.
This total solar eclipse is predicted to shadow over the entire continental United States on the 21st of August 2017. It has been accurately predicted by scientists that the first shadow of the moon will hit the northern city of Newport at around 10.15 AM (Pacific Time). This shadowing and eclipse will then spread across making its way down south to the cities Missouri, Idaho, Nebraska, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Kansas, Illinois, and Tennessee. The eclipse is predicted to end at around 2.49 PM (Eastern Time). Ending at this time from the Continental US, it will proceed its way to Charleston.
It is a 70 mile wide and 3000 long swath of eclipse that is lying directly in the shadow of the moon, which is known as the path of totality.
