Manushi’s father Dr. Mitra Basu Chhillar is a scientist at DRDO (Defense Research and Development Organization) and her mother Dr. Neelam Chhillar is a department head of neurochemistry at the Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences. Manushi’s dedication and passion for her work have brought back the crown after a gap of 17 years.
