HP Launches Safe, Smart and Secure Laptops and Displays for Healthcare Market

HP Launches Safe, Smart and Secure Laptops and Displays and all-in-one desktops aimed at the healthcare market. World’s most secure and all in one laptop is designed to fit into clinical settings and can be easily sanitized with germicidal wipes every shift, every day without the worry that moisture will damage the electronics.

The new range of Healthcare edition includes the HP’s EliteOne 800 G4 23.8 All-in-One desktop, the HP‘s 27-inch Clinical Review Display (via ZDNet), and the HP EliteBook 840 G5 notebook.

The company claims that the all the three products are purposely designed for healthcare, to enhanced patient’s safety, for smarter workflow, and for robust data security. The laptops include HP Easy Clean Software, which lets you disable the input from a keyboard, touchpad, and touchscreen while cleaning so that nothing is accidentally inputted while it’s still on. The three products also feature integrated RFID and Biometrics for authentication, allowing workers to sign in by tapping their badges on the laptop’s touchpad. The range also has fingerprint readers.

The HP EliteBook 840 G5 Healthcare Edition has a physically isolated security controller along with HP’s Sure View Gen4 which can prevent visual hackings.

The EliteOne 800 G4 is the world’s first AiO packed with RFID and biometrics for single sign-on authentication and easy cleaning feature. Its dual-facing pop-camera that claims to simplify the patient registration while providing more secured privacy option when the camera is not in use.

The 27-inch HP Healthcare Edition Clinical Review Display has 27-inch diagonal, 3.7-megapixel clinical review display with USB-C that supports a webcam privacy feature and supplies up to65w power delivery for connected devices. It also has RFID reader and a display which features automatic backlight monitoring, luminance uniformity, and auto image rotation.

The HP healthcare edition portfolio is designed to withstand deterioration from being cleaned with germicidal wipes, with Vidyo Ready4 and Skype for Business capabilities. The portfolio delivers an optimal collaboration experience: HP Audio Boost, HP Noise Cancellation, and IR/RGB camera for optimized audio and video calls.

The Elitebook is expected to be available in May, while the All-in-one and Clinical Review Display are expected to come in June.
